What I’ve learned in July to rethink processes

Hi and welcome to the New Process Letter!

This is a really short and focused way to share with you my key learnings of the month and to inspire you to rethink processes.

So July, let’s do this. 🚀

How to create a good Process Culture 🚀

In the latest episode of the
New Process Podcast
I spoke to

Amelie Langenstein

about Process Culture. Here are my key learnings:

Biggest challenges in developing a strong BPM culture: Ensuring authentic engagement, understanding the historical BPM context, addressing individual change experiences, respecting organizational subcultures, and fostering effective leadership.
BPM sparring partner: Amelie’s approach of having a leadership sparring partner would also be great in the BPM context: have a sparring partner to coach you on how to be a better process architect or process owner. ☝🏻
Key values = New Process approach: The 4 key values of openness, ownership, engagement, and excellence are also part of the New Process approach: ensuring trust and involvement, empowering employees to take responsibility, developing a process purpose to motivate, and using a continuous improvement plan.
